According to Jennifer Mum never liked this picture, but that wasn't unusual, she didn't like having her photo took at all. Personally I think this one is as good as they came. It was taken in 1984 when she and dad went to France on the local ferry. They travelled for 7 hours to get there, stayed for about 3 and then came home. It was the first time my mum had left English soil except when they went to Jersey for their honeymoon.
