Mum picking blackberries in 1943
In the album this is centred with pictures of some of mum's wartime friends around it. They all worked and played closely at this time and a couple of the girls stayed friends for a long time afterwards. However when I was born all contact seemed to end and mum only received a letter at Christmas and occasionally if something had happened, usually a death. My dad has a lot to answer for!
